Always wanted to go fishing or improve your angling skills? We offer a selections of Courses to get you started or help you improve on you existing skills.

We will tailor courses to suit your level of angling experience from complete novice upwards.

Courses options:

1.   Fly Fishing (Wet & Dry Fly Fishing) on Rivers.

2.   Loch Style Fly Fishing.

3.   Grayling Fishing  Fly & Trotting (River) 

(All courses incorporate an element of river/water craft/safety)

4.   Fly Tying Course designed for the novice to get you started with the basics. 

( All courses can be arranged for a one to one or group basis)

Guided Fishing Excursions:

Trout and Grayling Fishing can be arranged for parties of up to 4 persons, accompanied by an experienced angler to drive you  to and from the venue, help you throughout the day, offering tuition, advice and assistance.             

Full Day Fishing including travel time.

Departure Time: dependant on time of year, weather conditions and distance to venue.

Whether you visit only for the tuition or combine your course with your family holiday, we will endeavor to help where possible to ensure that your party enjoy your stay with us.

Free (Catch & Release) Fishing

As a resident of the cottage participants of one or other of the available courses, you qualify for free access to fishing Loch Lyoch and Loch Cleugh for rainbow and brown trout (Fly Fishing Only) for the duration of your stay.

Fish Costs: £2.50 per pound should you wish to sample the taste of our fish on the B.B.Q.
